Ross Incineration Services, Inc.
US EPA I.D. #OHD048415665

Ross Environmental Services provides incineration services through its sister company, Ross Incineration Services, Inc. (RIS). Ross Incineration was one of the first commercial incineration firms in the United States, using high temperature thermal destruction as its primary treatment method. The company is a leader in the development and design of innovative waste handling and incineration methods and technologies.

RIS operates under RCRA Part B operating permits from the United States Environmental Protection Agency and the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency.

Ross Incineration manages both hazardous and non-hazardous wastes. The design of the waste handling equipment and the incinerator itself allows for maximum flexibility in the types of wastes and containers that can be managed for incineration. The incineration system uses both a rotary kiln and a custom designed main chamber system to assure flexibility in handling even the most difficult to manage wastes.

Operational Flexibility

The incineration system is designed with operational flexibility that enables the processing of many types of waste in many different types of containers including cartons, pails, pallets, drums and gaylords. These containers can be steel, plastic, fiber, cardboard, aluminum and tin. In addition, RIS also accepts bulk materials in hoppers, roll-offs and totes.

Accepting a wide range of wastes

Ross Incineration accepts hazardous and non-hazardous RCRA wastes. The spectrum of wastes accepted includes:
