Ross Transportation Services, Inc. (RTS) drivers reached a major safety milestone recently when they successfully logged 4 Million Safe Driving Miles.
"Congratulations to our drivers and to everyone at Ross Transportation Services for achieving this outstanding milestone. Nothing is more important than the safety of our associates and trucks on the roads. Congratulations to them and to all associates of the Ross companies, as we all work together to be the safest TSD and transportation companies in our industry," William E. Cromling III, President of RTS said.
Cromling said that many individuals contributed to reaching this milestone. Driver awareness and training are both important to safety and RTS drivers put safety first at all times. Another key to safety on the road is vehicle maintenance and the RTS technicians in the garage ensure that the vehicles operate safely by performing maintenance on a regular schedule.
Finally, scheduling of drivers and equipment to prevent fatigue ensures adequate dirving time for each trip and ensures that they drive safely, he added.
