Ross
Environmental Services provides you with state of the art incineration
services through its sister company, Ross Incineration Services, Inc.
Ross Incineration was one of the first commercial incineration firms
in the United States, utilizing high temperature thermal destruction
as its primary treatment method since the 1950's. Since its beginning,
the company has been a leader in the development and design of innovative
waste handling and incineration methods and technology.
Ready
for MACT Compliance
Results of certified testing
of the operating system far exceed the technical performance standards
set by the US and Ohio Environmental Protection Agencies for hazardous
waste incineration. During 2002, the company
completed construction of a new air pollution control system and replaced
the main chamber of the incinerator. This $11 million reinvestment
in new technology will enable the company to continue to meet new regulatory
standards under the Maximum Achievable Control Technology (MACT) regulations
while maintaining operational flexibility to meet your needs.
Operational
Flexibility
The
incineration system is designed with operational flexibility that enables
the processing of many types of waste in many different types of containers
including cartons, pails, pallets, drums and gaylords which are directly
processed. These containers can be steel, plastic, fiber, cardboard,
aluminum and tin. The company also accepts hoppers, roll-offs and totes.
Accepting
a wide range of wastes
Ross Incineration accepts
hazardous and non-hazardous RCRA wastes. The
spectrum of wastes accepted includes:
