The Ross Group of companies would like to congratulate Zoe Welch, this year’s recipient of the Ross/Cromling Scholarship.
Zoe is the granddaughter of Ross Incineration Services, Inc. Compliance Supervisor Debbie Bishop.
The Ross/Cromling Scholarship is awarded annually by way of the Ross Foundation, Inc. The scholarship fund was created by associates of the Ross Group of companies, which includes Ross Environmental Services, Inc., Ross Incineration Services, Inc. and Ross Transportation Services, Inc., in honor of ownership to provide college funding to children, step-children and grandchildren of associates of the Ross Group of companies. Funds for these scholarships are generated through associate fundraising and donations.
This year, the scholarship recipient was selected by a Scholarship Selection Committee that included three people representing community groups including: the Eaton Township Trustees, the Grafton/Midview Public Library and the Midview Local School District.
This year’s scholarship awardee, Zoe, graduated from Wheat Ridge High School with a 4.0 GPA. During her high school education, she received an Academic Merit Award from 2015 to 2019, French Merit Award from 2016 to 2019 and was elected President of her school’s National Art Honors Society in 2019. Zoe is currently enrolled at the Cleveland Institute of Art where she plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts.
The Ross Group of companies wishes Zoe best of luck in her future studies. For more information about the Ross Foundation, visit https://rossenvironmental.com/community-relations/ross-foundation/.
